Pitching Match Up: Jaime Garcia (Cardinals LH 3-3, 3.78 ERA) VS Lucas Harrell (Astros RH 4-4, 4.71)

It’s not so good with Garcia as he hasn’t pitched since May 26, when he allowed four runs over six innings in a loss to Philadelphia. Garcia missed his last turn due to discomfort in his left elbow, but an MRI showed no damage whatsoever. Garcia still is seeking his first career win against Houston as he is 0-4 with a 6.89 ERA in six starts.

Harrell is hoping to erase his most recent start from memory as the 27-year-old was tagged for nine runs and 10 hits over five innings in a loss at Colorado on Wednesday. He allowed one earned run in each of his previous two outings, both victories. Harrell, who is 3-0 at home this season, notched the win over St. Louis on May 4 after yielding four runs over 5 1/3 frames.

Take note of these details if you wish to bet on this game: Houston's Jose Altuvez has recorded 23 multi-hit games this season, the second-highest total in the National League.

St. Louis' Allen Craig is 6-for-17 (.353) with three home runs and nine RBIs in six career games at Minute Maid Park.
