They rate the various sports booking sites, and also give out bonuses to their members.

As a beginner, it is better to know first the play offs prior signing up on the bookie site and placing bet. Playoff is the single- elimination tournament held at the end of the regular season to determine the football champion. The first round of the playoffs is the Wild Card playoffs, down to Divisional playoffs then meet in AFC and NFC Conference Championship games and finally to the Super Bowl. You also have to research on each team and study reports so you could identify which team shows the most potential. Try placing bet on tighter point spreads; it is actually easier to go over and under these. If you place a prop bet or side bet, be sure to pick on something that is “normal” like which side will score first.

Point Spread is the most commonly used type of method for Super Bowl betting, which is based on the concept of a spread. A spread is a range of results for the event that you are betting on, and the bet you place will be based on the spread of the event. Or simply explain as, point spread, is the number made by oddsmakers and presented to the sportsbook. The numbers are offered to the bettors where they could either take the favorite or the underdog. The favorite is indicated by a negative sign next to their name while positive sign for the underdog.

For example, if team A were the favorites over the team B by a 5.5 point spread and you bet on the team A, then they have to win 6 points in order to win the bet. If team A won by 5 or less, the bettors who bet on the Team B will be the one to win. The greater the spread, the harder it may be to go over or under it. This makes point spread betting a lot riskier than other kinds of betting, such as fixed odds or parimutuel betting.

Football is one of the most popular sports in the United States and all across the world. Many individuals love watching it, some enjoys playing it, and many others are getting involved in the whole industry behind it- coaches, managers, scouts, team owners, stadium administrators or ticket sales representatives. All these people are waiting to one particular event that happens once in a year- the Super Bowl. Furthermore, the Super Bowl also attracts many sports bettors. This sports bettor comes with different strategies in which they include the sports odds and the NFL lines. Their goal is to guess the sports scores for the Super bowl.

Many believe that the Super Bowl betting odds are the most confusing things ever created. Sounds bad, isn’t it? But this is really not the fact, if you understand them well pretty sure that you can bend and manipulate the sportsbooks into paying you a handsome wage by placing good value, well researched bets. Though Super Bowl betting odds may seem complex, there are actually just few simple types of bet you can place.

The Point Spread
The Point spread id the most commonly used type of betting. In this bet, you will have to choose which team you think will win, and how much they'll win by. If they win at least that much, you win the bet. Or, you can pick the losing team, and specify how close they'll be to the winner. If they are within the margin you choose, you win the bet. The favorite is indicated by a negative sign next to their name while positive sign for the underdog. For example, in 2010 the Indianapolis Colts were the favorites over the New Orleans Saints by a 6.5 point spread. If you bet on the Colts, they had to win by 7 points in order to win the bet. If the Colts won by 6 or less, the bettor who bet on the Saints won the bet.

The Money Line

The easiest way to explain the money line is betting on the team you think will win. That’s it! No point spread or handicapping. The downside of betting on this type is that, if you place your bet to a favored team to win, less money you get if you win your bet. But placing bet to underdog may provide you more money when your bet wins. Logically, your bets are paid out in terms of the risk you take. The more risk, the more you stand the win.

How to read the Super Bowl betting odds
The most common format is the money line format where numbers are written as greater than 100 or less than 100. If you see a positive “+” sign behind the team names, it means the underdog. And that shows the amount you will get if you place bet in underdog and win. For example, +300, you will receive $300 if you bet $100 and won the bet. These bet is quite risky since the chance of them winning are lower. While the number with a “-“ in front of it, represents the favourite, and shows the amount you have to wager to win $100. For example, a -300 would mean you have to bet $300 to win $100 income. Since the chances of them winning are greater, this type of bets has a small risk/ reward.

Now that you clearly understand the type of bets such as the point spread and money line, and now able to read the Super Bowl betting odds, it’s time to place your bets! Have fun!

The USA Annual Ad Meter, is a metric that was created back in 1989, tracks the second-by-second responses by a panel of ad viewers and is widely regarded as the most influential rating inSuperbowl ads.

According the USA Annual Ad Meter, Doritos’ “Pug Attack” and Bud Light’s “Dog Sitter” were the placers for the two best commercials of last year’s Superbowl, having deadlocked with a score of 8.35 each. On a national scale, these animal driven commercials have received the highest recognition.

Also, the pet-oriented “Pug-Attack” was the winner of Doritos’ 2011 “Crash the Super Bowl” contest, a DIY commercial contest which empowers fans to create their own ads. As a result of their win, ad creators JR Burmingham and Tess Ortbals won tickets to the Super Bowl and a guaranteed contract to create more commercials for the PepsiCo brand. The couple has won an addition $1 Million since their ad was rates the top spot.

This year’s five finalist for the Crash the Super Bowl Contest, it was noticed that most commercials feature animals or animal-related themes. Specifically, one features a baby, another has a bird-theme and three others focus on dogs.

Two winning finalists will be able to work on a Doritos project at a later date. These two will be chosen through consumer voting and also by the Doritos brand team. Another amazing surprise is that if the consumer Ad reaches the No. 1 spot on either on the USA Today’s Annual Ad Meter or the USA TODAY Super Bowl Ad Meter, the contestant will win a whopping $1 Million.

As the Superbowl XLVI looms in the coming weeks, the pre-game buzz has already started about the 2012 game’s commercials. News stories have reported that NBC sold all of the commercial airtime for the February 5th game before Thanksgiving for an average cost of $2.5 million for a 30-second spot.

We were also informed that the public should expect to see spots to feature cars, beverages and snacks. The most amusing commercials as proven always feature animals in them.

The “Pug Attack” commercial, the boyfriend of the pug-owner taunts the dog with the Dorito as a come-on. Subsequently, the dog tackles the boyfriend and victoriously ends up with the bag of chips.

In the Bud Light commercial entitled “Dog Sitter”, a buddy pet-sits for a friend that has nine dogs. Upon the sitter’s discovery that the refrigerator is stocked with Bud Light, he enlisted the dogs to serve beers, DJ, wash mugs and cook burgers at a party he hosts. Some dogs even flirt with guests. When the party is over, the dogs play poker while the sitter is forced to clean up alone.

Unlike the typical weekly football game, Super Bowl is a bit different. Predicting the final score is quite difficult, yet, as for sports betting, the Super Bowl gets the most bettors interest, thus, bringing the highest amount of money. The Superbowl competition attracts millions of TV viewers, tens of hours of TV and internet coverage, hundreds of pages of newspapers articles and interviews because it is most definitely the crown jewel of the football season. Logically, punters who love this sport and enjoy betting on it wants to know how they could predict the sports scores as accurately as possible.

In order to be successful in predicting the result of the Superbowl competition and get the right sport scores, it is necessary to take into account the Super bowl betting odds as well as the NFL lines, which may be quite unpredictable.

Every year Super bowl betting odds for the two teams are reveal by a group of professional oddsmakers working in Las Vegas, who each week interpret all of the data they can gather for each team and release their predictions to sports books everywhere. To help you understand the Super bowl betting odds, you may use of the following:

1. Take into account the teams’ records and momentum. Basically, the teams that are playing well or have hit a winning streak are often favored.
2. In determining a fair bet, you should also take into consideration if any star players are injured or if they could be available to play, as oddsmakers will certainly take this into account too.

3. Consider the weather forecast. Some teams perform well when cold than others. Everything else being equal (which it rarely is), oddsmakers usually give a three-point advantage to the home team.

4. Most sportsbook use the point spreads and money lines to even out betting on both sides. Without the point spreads and lines, bettors would always bet on the favorite to win.

There may be instances that after you have done your homework and extra research it may not agree with those of the oddsmakers. So, here you have to trust your guts and instinct. If your predictions turn out to be more accurate than those of the professionals, the chances for you to make your profits are bigger. Good Luck!
