Superbowl Online Live Via Stream by NBC

US television network NBC will broadcasting the next Super Bowl on the 5th of February. Saying that they will be streaming the world’s biggest TV event through NBCSports.com and NFL.com. It will also be streamed through the NFL Mobile App by the network Verizon.

Last year, the Super Bowl attracted a record breaking audience of at least 100 Million.

The deal has also included NBC’s broadcast of two wild card play-off matches and the Pro Bowl, which will be played in January ahead of the Super Bowl.

"We don't want to limit ourselves to people not in front of the TV," said Rick Cordella, vice-president of NBC Sports Digital Media. "The play-offs are appointment viewing. People schedule their day around it."

Since 2008, NBC and the NFL have streamed regular seasons of superbowl online with its Sunday Night Football service offering extra camera angles not used in the TV broadcast, live statistics and interactive elements.

There is an average of between 200,000 and 300,000 viewers of the Sunday night streams, compared with about 21 million watching each game on TC, with NBA and NFL claiming that there has been no negative impact on TV viewing by offering games online.

"Our online streaming represents a compelling, second-screen experience that nicely complements NBC's on-air presentation," said Cordella.

Now that the Super Bowl will be streamed in different places, there will be no more excuse for you to miss the Super Bowl event. If you are to travel in another corner of the globe on the day of the Super Bowl event then don’t fret about not being able to watch the event since it’s also available online.

There may be some restrictions but US residents will definitely enjoy these changes and have a wonderful Super Bowl experience this year. You should be polishing your handicapping techniques by now if you’re a bettor.
